How are these Salt Lamps made?
These lamps are created using rock crystals that are gathered from the foothills of the Himalayas in Pakistan. The crystals come in a variety of colors - white, pink, peach, orange, red, crimson and other vibrant shades.
These large slabs of crystals are carved and shaped by hand to give it a distinct design. A hole is drilled and a light bulb or candle is integrated in the middle. When the bulb or candle is lighted, it brings out the natural glow in the rock crystal.
