Better be careful of the security and privacy problems with Ooma, which the company won’t admit to. There are serious problems with letting unknown persons use your phone line, which is what Ooma does.
And if you drop your own phone line (in which case you must get a new number), you won’t get decent 911 service.
Also, note that the fine print says that the “free” service is only guaranteed for 3 years.
